Edit: SOLD
For a mate I am offerering this frame with some parts:
More pics here:
http://fotos.mtb-news.de/s/75701
I was told, size is 17,5". Paint is original. No dents. Serialnumber cannot be found atm.
It comes with invoice from december 1993. So the frame should be a model year 93 or 94.
It comes with all the parts you see, i.e. Ringle Moby seatpost 3DV, XTR 900 front mech and bottom bracket, Avocet saddle and the headset.
My mate bought it from the first owner. He was basically only after some 3DV parts and is now selling the frame and the remaining parts.
The frame has some features anyone interested should be aware of:
1. The Ringle Moby seatpost is 27.2; according to the original owner he was able to choose between three diameters of seattube: 26.8, 27.0 and 27.2. The seatpost fits in smoothly.
2. The frame does not have an "arch"/counter piece for a rear. According to the original owner this way a special order as he fitted some IRC brakes (similar to V-Brake). My mate has no proof if this is true.
3. In the seattube there is a horizontal crack in the paint but my mate is positive it is not inside. It cannot be seen or felt. Also nothing to be seen when using a strong torch. Also the crack is not at a place where the seattube usually cracks.
Price is 550 EUR / 400 GBP + shipping. Europe should be around 25 EUR, I guess.
