Might be something interesting. What's the name on the top tube, "Sabi.." or "Sabr.."?
Lots of sponsor(?) stickers..

I was gonna have a poke at it too, but there is an earlier (and even harder to get) frame on ebay also

Decisions decisions....

There's another on here:

What is interesting for me are the JMC tattoo decals - where they a standard item or was he big in the US? More like some one who knew him or raced with him put them on which adds credence to the team frame suggestion.

Yeah but the other one isn't for sale...

I don't think the jmc stickers mean anything. Just a keen fan.
If I knew where to get some from I'd probably put them on my fsr as a tribute.

But why would an average American have them? Those decals were made after he died weren't they as a memorial type thing.

Surely at best the guy was a local hero who did nothing big in the US, his fan base out there would have been limited to a few ex-pats and racers. Your average American would struggle to put his name to a face.

Here's another team one with the bolt on swing arm

And the other interesting thing is the bike is for sale in Colorado Springs..

I've no idea if this is an ex-team frame, the seller seems to have no idea what she's got either: "designed by Troy Lee Designs".

I do know however that my ex-team '98 Yeti Lawwill frame had bearings on all pivots instead of the regular bushings that this one has.

Looks sweet though, IMHO they look a bit cooler with the bolt-on arm

I didn't find any clues about the previous owner either. But where's the serial number supposed to be? Not under the bb on this one..

Iirc Missy Giove had the same tattoo. The sticker is maybe in homage of her.
