YETI FRO seatpost clamp

1990 ish frame 26.8mm seat post but need clamp size 28.6mm too small (maybe its because I tried to replicate the original with a 1 1/8 inch clamp which will not fit post or seat tube)
Not sure 30mm is the way to go and 31.8mm will be too big.
Of course if anyone has an original I would be interested.....for a project that will see the light of day soon

the Tuffneck bmx producer seems to be the original supplier of the clamp. They are still in the market. I got one… but it is slightly to small for my 1990 fro. I will do some measurements and get back

I don't know whether it helps, but on a thread elsewhere I was reading earlier there was a post from FTW about Yeti's seat clamps:

We had our own post clamps made from a BMX extrusion for our 1-1/8" seat tube diameter. If that same clamp was modified to fit a larger aluminum seat tube, it might have the problem you describe.

I meant the thread I linked to in my post. I did get their via a thread on here, but it wasn't directly related to the seat clamps - it was about SBikes.

There was one on uk eBay that ended in 100 pounds or so… crazy
