I have seen a yeti arc with a crack for 1000 euro on a German eBay site.

This is crazy.. almost 6000 euro and a big chance it will crack..

i have small ARC i,d sell, but yes a 5-8 mil crack in head tube and tiny small dent but most have dents don,t they lol,, got told a £40 fix on the head tube by Danson off here as its away from the weld

Is this an inevitable outcome? I mean, I thought that only early A.R.C.s were prone to break. Until I found evidences of broken '94-'97 too. Is there something flawed in the frame design itself, as the Sbikes? Or something wrong with the tubeset used, as the Scrambler Lines (made of Pechiney 6106 aluminum alloy)? Or is it something related to over tightened seat bolt and bottom bracket and/or not properly fitted headset?
