Y2K Kona question

Re:

does indeed have glow in the dark decals, they always makes me smile. Might have to lose mine sadly...

Just found a seat clamp on grannie gear shop at ebay. £4 posted but needs a respray, still pleased with that find after your help.

Re:

It should hopefully fit the bill for a bike that can do some streety trials and some longer rides. :)

£4 sounds fair shouldn't take much to re paint a bit of hammerite.

Really like the Kona frame Kyle!!Best colour aswell.Would love to see some pics when it's finished :D

Unfortunately i'm only doing a frame change from the GT avalanche at the end of my build thread in my sig below. So it'll be pretty much all the same kit, even the seatpost is just getting shimmed.

Yeah but it will be a kona now! You may find yourself fitting a fork at some point, kona handling is first class. I was flying on a descent the other day felt like the pahoehoe was just floating over stuff.

Sounds cool love the pahoehoe you changed anything recently?

Doubt I'll get forks any time soon planning a more streety build anyway. Dmr moto rt tyres on there way ;)
Got my frame looks in really good nick apart from the mech hanger getting bent in transit which the seller refunded £10 for a new one

Re:

Not changed much really. Put a panaracer fire xc pro on the back, new chainring bolts and seat clamp. Plus serviced rear hub and been enjoying it.

But time coming for a strip, powder coat and new decals along with some shimano st m760 kit and maybe race face controls among a few other things. Will see how it goes really

Paneracer fire xc pro are great tyres i have a pair that I'm using currently.
Will be a shame to loose the decals but if the frame is worse for wear i guess needs must!
