XTR M960 chainset (Polished)

Just received these after getting what I think was a good deal on them. Not sure how they've been polished (or treated with?) but it seems a nice enough job. The embossed model number etc around the pedal thread seems to have completely disappeared though, is that normal I wonder? I might stick some red KCNC bolts on that I've got spare (if they fit) to match the rest of the build.

Don't normally use Hollowtech II cranks but decided it was time to switch when these came up, had a spare XT bottom bracket I picked up ages ago ready to go too. Of course the chainring size is a bit of a pain so I guess I'll need to get a new outer pretty soon, any advice appreciated. The inner and middle are recent Middleburn replacemtns so should be fine for a good while yet.

These are nice chainsets, light and strong. I brlive a bit lighter than the model which replaced it (that one needs special tools to fit and adjust)

Downside is only shimano and middleburn do rings for them, shimano ones being eyewateringly ££££!!!

Also you need single chain ring bolts and more of them so that pushes the cost up a bit.
