They seems to be little different. How exactly did You end up with dismantled bits?
I had accident and kicked them with mine knee. Just thumb lever and broke axle shaft, few threads was off. It cannot be welded as it is zinc-alloy, but I bonded it with cyanoacrylate just for threading inside and then secure it with bolt. It holds and shifts so far. :)

well i can officially say i know how to fix one of these things now.
it took a number of attempts messing with the springs etc.
but my persceverance has paid off.
i intend to do an instruction thingy for future reference.
but i can honestly say it is really quite simple to go together.
this is a good day for me. :D
although it makes my rubik cube look a little easy.

Hello guys. I seached for hours a solution, and I saw here that you find a whay to manage somehow.
I have also a pair xt M095(new). I don't know how were kept, but are new!
The only thing it was that, the right shifter was very hard to push! I don't know if is normal or not!! But I tried to disassemble, to see if something is broken inside (I find nothing) but now, I can't reassemble how it was.!!
You said here, that you want to make a tutorial. Please if you have time maybe you can explain me how you make it.
Right now I can't use the right shifter. It will be very nice from you if you could help me somehow!Thank you very much.

shimano website has the manuals of exploded instructions on all there parts. i think its in dealer manuals but this might be to old.

thanks andy

Always video maintenance stuff like this close up when you disassemble ;)

Yes, I agree, nowdays I video everything I take apart..or pics.

In light of that.....

Has anyone put together a video or pics to make a how to on this rebuild?
I have a couple that can use some TLC.

Thanks.

Re:

They're not to hard, everything bar the internal ratchets is quite easy iirc. Much easier than the xt/dx
from that time as their internal ratchets where far more faffy.
I can strip one down if you want.
