i am obviously not at my peak yet. Need to practice further and hone my dib'ing skills....

I guess so.........it seems like you need to be down on seconds to win these things. At least it looks like you have second dibs.......but let's face it; if the crancks are good, the first "dibber" will buy them in a heartbeat for that price.

I'm looking for minty M900 cranks but the good ones are always gone before I even see the post. I guess I'll just end up buying one of the overexpensive nos ones on the bay. Will cost me a small fortune!

Just so there's no confusion:

So yes, unfortunately Treacle was slightly too late. As Rick says, I originally posted them for sale in the wrong section (I put them in the Wanted section), and he replied to that thread. I then moved it to the For Sale section, and marked them as dibbed.

Shit happens. I guess the frustration comes from a lot of people really wanting M900 cranks. When it appears like you lost it even though you reacted in three minutes it naturally creates some frustration.
