Hello, i have a couple of scratches on the back by jockey wheels to a newly purchased xtr rear mech and I have a modelers airbrushing kit and was wondering if anyone recommends a colour match??

Depends, you may have to do it yourself (match it) the grey seems to fade a lot.
I have a nice dark grey one and a faded light grey one ;)
 
It was Cannondale's Goodboy or Goodboy LE ?
that had a custom polished XTR (of that year ? early 00's ?)

i'm sure you'll find it now.

Oh thats cool to know - thanks :) (its only darker that side because i ride to work with the sun on that side of me and ride home in the dark lol)

You could just strip it and polish it like the special edition they done - sounds interesting this special edition you speak of :D
 
Shimano indeed made a anniversary edition for Cannondale.
It had a polished M952 crankset, front derailleur and rear derailleur.
I have the rear derailleur, but was in very bad condition. I tried to repolish, but Shimano polished it and gave it a good coating, so repolishing didn't work very well.
The crankset had the Cannondale anniversary logo on it.
