Old School Hero
Here's a bunch of parts I'm taking of an old Kona. All the parts are great and working, any flaws are mentioned next to the item. All prices include shipping to the United States, but overseas rates shouldn't be too much more.
Deore XT ST-M739 shifter/brake units: Amazing condition, with virtually zero cosmetic damage $70 SOLD
Deore XT BR-M739 V-Brakes: Full set w/noodles, great condition, logos nice and clear, pretty worn pads: $40 SOLD
Deore XT FD-M737 & RD-M737: Both work fine, but rear has some scratches, 31.8mm clamp size $30 for the pair SOLD
Deore XT M737 Wheelset W/ Panaracer Smoke/Dart Classic Tires & an 8-speed XT Cassette: The hubs run smooth, the wheels are true, and the tires have a plenty of life left in them. Unfortunately there is a ding in the rear rim. It doesn't seem to affect breaking performance, but I cant attest to the structural stability of the rim, though I've ridden on it for over a year with no problems. $65 takes the set.
Kona Velocity Stem: 1 1/8" quill with a zero degree rise, decals are peeling, and there are a few pretty small scratches in the paint $10
Kona Impact Headset: Threaded 1 1/8", great overall condition, has rubber seal, "Impact" logos a bit faded, missing lower bearings (can be found for less than $5 at any bike shop) $25 SOLD
Rock Shox Mag 21 Fork Decals: I don't know if they're original, but they look perfect $20
White Industries Sugino Crankset: tapers and threads are great, but the surfaces are a bit scratchy $45 SOLD
Manitou X-Vert R TPC Downhill Fork: Great condition w/ no leaks, rebounds well, decals peeling a little, 1 1/8" 21mm steerer $130 SOLD
I'm open to all offers as well, and I'd be willing to pull apart the wheelset and sell the tires, hubs, and cassette separately if anybody wants.
