Wanted XT Rear Mech 737 or 739

Did the 739 come in sgs too?

I thought only long sgs...but im sure I've seen short ones....

But then 737 and 739 are so similar unless you see them together...

I think there's 2 lengths not 3

Mombat and shimanos catalogue only shows 1 in the pictures...and that's long. I suppose ratios were on the up and short cage was no longer really a useful option.

That flat cage is the long one, both shown as 739s
It might be they changed the cage length at some point but never offered 2 simultaneously?
I mean 28t large sprocket was big once upon a day

They both, 737 and 739 were available in GS and SGS but never SS. The GS was £5 more expensive as it has an aluminium rather than steel back plate. Actually as far as I can tell the whole cage assembly on the GS was lifted straight from the M900 mech. Looks identical to me.
