XT M735 cartridge bearing pedal strip

Has anybody taken one of these apart for servicing. Ive serviced loads of m730, 731 and 735. But never the cartridge ones, infact its the first pair of these ive even held!

Im assuming a standard shimano PD40 pedal axle too fits the splines?

But whats inside? Anybody know of an exploded diagram for them?

Pre armed, prior to engaging with enemy and all that!

You mean the all part of the axle and screws in form the crank side?

If so, they are much easier than the.other style.
Take out, clean, check, grease, tighten, stick back in

Yes, PD40 tool works with the pedals. The internals are much the same as the modern pedals, but dimensions of most of the parts etc are slightly different. I was hoping to swap the guts with pedals pictured, but no go. Everything was just different enough that most parts could not be swapped :roll:

Yes, i was a bit disappointed when i took them apart! Thought they might be more interesting.
