I can't remember where I got them but I think they have been resprayed by the previous owner, I'm not 100% sure.

They are actually m735......i think.....

M730 are parallelogram beartrap....M731 are "race" option prior to these coming out.

These m735 came with 2 different spindles, the one you see and the one that required a shimano pedal tool to open them.

They are one of the best shimano made imho....i love them....but have several spare pairs already.....sadly.

Suntour xc9000 and xc pro are wider....but if you dont want another mortgage, try some sakae lowfat. Light, easy to service and a good wide platform for bigger feet or casual shoes....

129 version has a detachable cage and is lighter....but even the cheaper version is very good.
