For future reference the Ritchey cranks are perfect for this application - they are pretty, 110 BCD and the granny ring attaches with spacers so you can keep the already low Q factor down.
No worries . I forgot to get the chainline as I was pushed for time . (the guy with the bike is a bass player and so was 5 hours late} .Thanks a lot !

One or 2 reports in another thread on here recently suggesting Spa cranks may have quality issues. I'm not going to diss spa as a shop, but some of their own-label budget gear may be questionableThe Spa XD2 cranks work well, are insanely cheap and have a pretty narrow Q factor.
