Thanks for taking time to reply even though i mislead you on a wild goose chase.
Simplest solution is to fit bar mount as is. Ive been on the internet and it seem the circular pin is removable, that may help with diy adapter as it is just a bit less than 7mm, a drill size i dont have.
I think i may need to remove the cable ties around my wallet and chisel it open to buy the one listed at cr (thanks for link), not worth spending hours on something that i reckon will have a low success rate of working and weathers too nice not to be biking.
