Xenon compatibility

Hi

Could anyone comment. My early 90s Olmo Giro currently runs on xenon 9 speed shifters. Will these work with a 10 speed xenon or veloce rear mechanism or will I need new shifters too?

If the shifters have '9-speed' on the body above the brake lever they are post-2001 and will work.
IIRC Xenon 9 speed is always post-2001.

Just to expand on what hamster wrote, when Campy introduced 10 speed in 2001 they redesigned the geometry of the RD and applied the same redesign to the 9 speed groupsets.

Xenon was reintroduced in 2002, having been dropped in '92/'93, so any "new" RD will work with Xenon 9 speed shifters.
