Why do I always miss these. One day I’ll finally get my hands on some cam locks!!

I have just got a set from eBay and the rear one seems to have a bent 'pin'. The vendor has suggested that they were manufactured like this to allow for a more secure fit around the rear chainstay, but I think I'm having my leg pulled - no mention in the 97 catalogue about this - any advice peeps?

Funny you mention that, I have a set but with only one pin and that appears “bent” too…..I’ll take a picture later if you like.

Cant say I have noticed any of mine being bent, curious now though.

Cant see how you could bend one yourself, apart from big crash which would leave marks surely?

Seeing as they screw in and out, it seems odd that they'd have one with a 'wobble' that would make it hard to remove once in place? I'm wondering how much I care, but don't like being mugged off!!

Never thought of that, yeah you would not be able to remove it once done up.
