WTT... Any skiers here? I want to trade a Fat Chance...

Old School Hero
I have a Fat Chance Wicked that's built up as a single-speed. I don't need it, but ski season is coming up and I want some new skis. If anyone has any hook-ups and happened to be looking for a Fat Chance maybe we can help each other out.

Specifically, I'm looking for Nordica Mach 3 Power in 170cm and am having a hard time finding a used/demo set in the U.S.

BTW... the pics are of the bike in the mid-build stage.

Ok...
I'll take $400 for the frameset or $500 for the (nearly) complete bike. If you want me to ship it, you have to give me some time (I'm moving this weekend) and pay for the shipping.

For obvious reasons I'd rather give the buy in the Bronx first dibs, but only if this happens by the weekend (then I won't be in the Bronx myself).

These are the pics of the frameset. I don't have any pics of the bike built up yet.

There's a fun little story with this...

I bought it from a guy in Germany. This is a Wicked with a pretty nice repaint. I bought the frame only to build myself a nice hardtail. Well, less than 2 weeks after I bought this I got an e-mail from a guy that was selling a LeMond steel mountain bike that I wanted forever. (I sent him an e-mail almost 2 years earlier when I found out that the had that LeMond asking him to get in touch with me if he wants to sell it).

Anyway...
I held on to the Fat Chance for a while just in case, but never ended up needing it. So I put the frame up on ebay to sell it, figuring that someone who'll build it and ride it should have it. A guy who had the exact matching fork to this one-off paint job saw my listing and e-mailed me saying that he'll sell me the fork. So I re-united the frame and fork, held on to it for a while longer.

Now I'm moving, trying to clear out clutter and this frameset is still unridden. I have it built up as a single-speed, but I can't bring myself to ride it and leave it anywhere around where I live.

So some... please buy it and love it... and ride it!
