WTD: xtr m900 wheels or nice equivelent?

Well I do have these...but they are priced not to sell  Trying to keep them for a future build. Mint Hope Ti front and rear...de-stickered rims (Mavic I guess)
Front has lost the Hope sticker.
Priced not to sell at £175 posted....yeh I know...I can keep them :D

If you'd contemplate something a bit more recent I have a pair of silver Mavic 517s on M950 hubs, laced 32H F&R. Charcoal XTR skewers would be included but alas the freehub body is not the Ti original but a steel replacement.

I'd consider an exchange deal for a pair of 6-bolt disk hub based wheels if you have any spare?

Cheers, Gareth.

M900 XTR's on 32h Mavic M231 ceramics with DT d.b. spokes. All parts silver.

Hub bearings will need a service - no play, but not as smooth running as they should be. Freehub is great.

Rims are great, loads of ceramic life but lots of small marks/chips to ceramic surface. I think some hard braking with ceramic-spec pads would help smooth it over/out. Brakes work savagely well though as-is.

Looking for about £110 + post, can do you some piccies if you are interested.

Hey Jez,

Freehub seems perfect, and the rear is slightly smoother than the front.

Price-wise they cost me a fair bit more than £110 and I've only used them as road wheels with Nimbus tyres on the Fat. Just got a road bike (I know I know) so could do with releasing some equity! :)

Also have a couple of people pestering me for the M231 Ceramic rims as they are getting pretty hard to find now, but I don't want to be breaking up a perfectly good set of handbuilt hoops!

If you end up needing a new freehub body I can refund you a tenner towards it or something? Though I'm pretty sure it'll be fine :) Would be worth putting fresh bearings and grease in though I'd think.

Shall I get out the old digi cam? Any bits you want to see especially?
