Rick have you measured the diameter of thread?

Yes, much smaller than M5, the measurements shown are the length of the thread not the diameter or pitch.

I’ve got a widowed left m750 shifter, and right indicator window with bolts. On my digital callipers they look to be more like 5.5mm long, but I’ll give you the lot for enough to cover the postage.

Thanks both for sending them over, neither has done the job though. Still too short!

Anyone got some dead or XTR shifters going spare? Or wants to de-window them them?
