WTD:- Good quality Ladies Bike.

Hi,

WLTB a good quality second hand bike for my partner. She is 5"2.

It would seem that the world of ladies bikes is not quite as straight forward as it is for the gentlemen. My searches so far have found nothing but heavy, badly designed, poorly equipment BSO's.

Is any one able to offer or point me in a direction for something suitable for daily use and medium distance touring (road) doesn't have to be a drop top-bar but id prefer to get something that's designed for a ladies body rather than just a small mens bike.

I have a ladies Raleigh Pioneer. Pinned/ lugged frame with a proper mech hanger, 700c.

Mint condition - Use as is or go to town with a modern rebuild.

I have a 17 inch Raleigh Saturne you can have for free if you want to pick it up. Tried selling it but no takers and its taking up room. M25 Junction 28/29

Its venerable but hardly used and nice to ride.

Thanks everyone, I found a reasonable Dutch styles bike for town (Bronx Londoner) and I think that will be ok for now. I'd like to find a good 531 mixte frame that can be built into a light tourer but that can be an ongoing summer project. Appreciate the offers and pms.
