I've gotten my hands on a rear one for free, and looking for a pair ;(
Really like the feel of it so far although Vento's aren't meant to be the same built quality as teh Shamals.

what would you say is a good price on a front Vento/Shamal?

In my experience its the same as most campag parts, condition is essential.

If it is in ok condition with no cassette/skewer then as little as £50, if it is great condition with all the bits then upwards of £130.

I am not sure of NOS, name your price really.

(Im only talking about Shamals here)

My Brother has a Front Shamal on his bike, I doubt he will let that one go!

The fact that you got one for free is great!

i got my vento in reasonable condition for 40. it was such a nice ride. but yer dont expect them to last in a crash. i crashed going really slow and its long gone. even more unlucky my elbow landed in a pothole and i was hospitalized for 5 days.
