WTD: Campag NR hoods or levers and hoods

I'm after some 1960s/70s Campagnolo Nuovo Record brake lever hoods, or failing that, levers and hoods (I have some levers without hoods you see), in good condition. It's the the last thing I need to complete my build!

Even Campyoldy don't have any these days in the brown gum style although he MIGHT have some black ones available.

He has the complete thing for about £200 (I think!) NOS.

If you go on Ebay and do an advanced search for Campagnolo hoods within eurpoean union you'll nearly always get some for sale in italy. Seem to come up quite often. But expensive. But there is some brown, not sure if they're the gum ones you want, and some gum/tan etc. Some ending in 8 hours! Not sure if they re genuine or not. I've heard about set of moulds doing the rounds! Might have been nigel @ campyoldy that was talking about that, can't remember. They look good though. Just to tease, I spoke to him a week or two back and he was telling me about buying a whole sack full of hoods once upon a time! What a score that would be!

Thanks very much chaps! I think I will take a look at those ebay hoods and take my chances with their genuineness! I'd like to get this bike finished in a rideable state then start pimping further where I don't have the part I want....

Slightly off-topic but I've had a look at the Italian guys e-bay shop - and he knows how to charge doesn't he! Lots of very nice stock but rather expensive IMHO.

Must be campagnolo tax! I stalked the hood auctions that were ending this morning but didn't fancy paying the prices they went for in the end... The search continues...
