I had a set of those hubs.

the front cones always ran loose no matter what you did.

The headsets were quality though, would run 1 today.

I got all the parts on the WTB I acquired several months ago. I haven't used them so far. Bike is subject for big overhaul all the time (project is proceeding very slow )

Hubs look in proper shape. No issues.
Headset => great
BB => Hmm, was tightened too much. Will see what it is when I put it back. Already got my hands on a Suntour GG MD unit, for in case.

I didn't get on with those headsets, nice grease guard port and such but always seemed to work loose, they have little derlin shims with tight tolerances to keep the unit sealed, and I think as it wore this started to distance teh bearing surface and bearings? (I had a couple of the Ahead versions for a while).
