hi @Bytesex, actually i bought some used tanwall Velociraptors last month via retrobike (here).
I'm not going to ride this bike hard and i have some experience riding old Velociraptors on another bike.

Awesome project! Can I ask if you plan to get Velociraptors for tyres? I am currently trying to get new ones since WTB still makes them and only in 26x2.1. It‘s just a bit hard to get them in Europe.

Also i finally got the replacement tube for seatpost from McMaster-Carr.
2ft of stock 6061-T6 stock aluminium from Kaiser with 1,5" outer diameter.

How noisy is the rear hub? May sound silly but I am looking to replace a HÜGI on a Merlin (which seems to amplify the noise) because it‘s just too loud. Was looking at a Chris King which makes a siren like („angry bee“) sound. Not sure I want that either

Not noisy at all, just 3 little engagement pawls in there
