Work bikes

this is mine now - was my Proflex 753, but since building this at the weekend I'm really happy with it.

Bringing this thread back a bit...

Finished this yesterday. 2000 Spesh M2 Pro. Mostly original stuff with a few exceptions. P2s, LX, etc. She's my girlfriend's campus bike for this semester. She screams.

Presumably when ridden hard.
(Sorry, couldn't resist!) :p

Here's what I'll be getting to work on until I build something more appropriate. (Flame-throwers at the ready........)

Here's mine. As unforgiving as you can imagine. But fast too. I'm using it for work commuting maybe once a week but every time it's blast to ride.

I'm very fond of mine too Joe.... Thanks for the compliment.

It's one of those bikes that is just now the way I want it and it's almost a shame to wear stuff out on it. But then having a bike the way you want it implies that you should actually use it too!

Shouldn't really use it to ride to work but it is a 15mile commute each way and the MTBs are just too slouchy for that trip. I sometimes take a slight detour through the woods and use my cross bike though.
