Work bikes

A touch of titanium done up like a 60s racer:

Well, we have secure parking at work.

Halfords Hack

Who would steal this frame found in a skip Halfords Carrera (deeply unfashionable) from the 90s single speed courtesy of broken cassettes. If I can persuade the welder at work to weld up the free hub it might even become a fixed. On the plus side its frame is really light.

Now that is a thing of beauty.

Thanks! I started off with plans to make a plan commuter, but I just kept on finding nice things to go on it...

Until I either buy another bike or get my Scott Voltage repaired then I am currently riding my 1997 Specialized Ground Control A1 Pro to work.

Work bike

My work bike, a Kona Jake with panniers.

Great for tootling along the beach before a short section of dirt track along the old tramlines gets me to work

My 1993 Scott Peak

My 1993 (I think ) Scott peak which I bought as in picture with :-

Canti brakes replaced by V brakes
Deore Brake levers
Tioga /Raceface headset unknown alloy handlebars
Shifters Sram x5
Rear Mech Sram x5
Original ( I think ) Shimano Biopace cranks
Weinmann Alloy wheels with muddy wolf Tyres

I`m new to cycling full stop and it`s actually my second bike the first was a trek 800 that was stolen but actually I prefer this to it

But it got nicked

So I have to start all over again now, but I have a lovely bike to start with, ' 95 Candy GT Timberline. Many ideas, but this time home made parts where I can.
