Winter road bike help?

Looking for a bit of help in picking a winter road bike.

Last year I used my Enigma as I had time to clean it but this year I won’t so I’m looking for a cheap road bike. This bike will be kitted up with mudguards , lights and a bag.

It must have mudguard mounts , and discs. It must also be a decent ish thing. Sealed hubs, decent drivetrain etc


I don’t mind whether it’s new or slightly used if anyone can offer any suggestions.

The current favourite is a Planet X London Road which are £720 +£25 delivery.

Just to finish the thread …. Took delivery of a Planet X London road. Really good for £720. Colour wouldn’t be my first choice but ….

Oh and they were having a £1 sale on clothing so got loads of cheap jackets , Bibs, shorts etc for next to nothing.
