Will Original rigid Bontrager crown fit on Mag 21?

Hey all,

I've still got the original rigid Bontrager Race fork that came with my '93 Race light. Does anyone know if I can bolt the Race crown onto Rock Shox Mag 21 forks? As far as I can tell they're both 1" diameter, but that's as scientific as I've gotten about it

I'm looking for a small suspension fork solution for my girlfriends medium Race Light and I thought this would be the ultimate solve... if its possible.

Both bontrager and Rock Shox used 1" diameter legs. So, it's possible.
But the problem you should find is the rake : Bontrager's fork rake is very short for a better handling :?

Why would that be a problem? If it is possible I assume it's better to have a Bonty crown on a Bonty frame, as opposed to the Mag 21 crown. True?
