i purchased a PRST-4 on ebay tonight, and once everything has been swapped over, the frame will be in need of a new home!
anyone interested please get in touch!
the complete bike can be found in the readers mtb kit forum, WHYTE PRST-1 old skool x-lite build!

Hi there i have not been a regular user but could be glad i looked today! I am interested in the frame, i was watching the one you bought, i expect?! but just a little too much money for me and i have cracked original prst 1 superbike spec, so the warranty replacement style shock mount etc but still battleship grey . . . spot on, what size is the PRST 1? I AM 6,2 and i believe the one i have is a 19" but its only just big enough, partly why i was looking at the 20 " prst 4. Looking as i have a few bits left from my kona builds, and need a couple of finishing touchs, will have to get organised and sort a profile with pics of my rigid konas! thankyou Ben

hi guys,
as far as i was aware, the PRST-4 came in 15.5″, 17.5″ and 19″ sizes.
measurements can be a little vague depending on they are taken from!
sorry to those who were bidding on the PRST-4 on ebay, but i just had to have it! :)
i find my PRST-1 a little short in reach, even with a long stem and seat right back, (i'm 5' 11" but have long arms!)
so i reckoned that the advertised as 20.5" frame would turn out to be a 19" in reality and give me a little extra reach.
my PRST-1 measures 17.5" from BB to centre of top tube, in theory a medium, but to the top of the top tube measures 19",
i think this is where the confusion comes from.
hopefully the PRST-4 is a 19" from centre of BB to centre of top tube, which in theory makes it 20.5" from centre to top!
everything should swap straight over and hopefully build into a really nice bike!
if it's too big, then i may have to rethink!!
cheers
