Why no coloured tyres for MTB 26"

iirc the coloured compounds add quiet a bit to their weight(?) But I'm still temped by some pink Halos

colored tires

I bought some Sweetskinz a couple of years ago and they were the worst tires ever made.
Pure rubbish!
They kept falling off the rim. I've never seen anything like it.

Got red banded Panaracer Fire XC Pro's on my RTS at the moment, and these are new tyres. Not at all heavy ;)

Michelin XCR MUD

26X2.00 (52-559) tube type / 127 TPI / 570g / 29-58 PSI / gray+black
26X2.00 (52-559) tubeless / 127 TPI / 785g / 29-58 PSI / gray+black

Michelin A/T - others as well. I think I have 3 sets of green ones, 2 speedy's on one set of knobby's. Oh, the basement... the basement...

Panaracer still at it - just for commuters now:

Yeah, it is weird how you can get roadie tires in all the colors of the skittles rainbow while the only decent colored MTB tires are Michelin's grey (umma gumma!) XCRs.

On the other hand, my current Schwalbes are more than loud enough for me with those huge silver logos.

Orange Wildgrippers - where are they

I have an old worn set of Wildgrippers on my 96 Giant and the only colour available now seems to be black! If anybody knows where to get orange tyres from I would appreciate the address/contact number. Dare to be different.
