me too..lbs is selling the carbon stumpie at a reduced price of £2300 down from £2700, now my logic says that if I buy it, thats a saving of £400, now I'm not being selfish am I when I say that the mrs can have the £400 and go buy herself something pretty like a new pair of shoes or a dress.... she's not too keen on the idea for some reason? its not like she has enough shoes already? cant get why she's not up for it?

The hardrocks at the moment seem to offer great VFM and they look good too. Very tempted by the most basic fully disc braked equipped model, no other manufacturer is currently tempting me at this pricepoint.

My 05 M5 Sworks epic frame was replaced after two years, i mentioned to my lbs that the lettering was flaking off the anodised frame, Specialized uk offered me an 08 M5 in sliver, i said i'd rather have my black one back so they sent me a black carbon Sworks 06, happy days now i always look at the big S before anyone else.

The new S Works Enduro at Interbike/Eurobike looks the business.

I like the fact that they have kept the Specialized font the same all these years. If only some other manufacturers had done the same- Merlin comes to mind.
