Why is ebay populated by half wits?

I recently bought a dura ace 9 speed cassette in titanium for £16.99 when they usually make about £40 :!: :!: as the seller had listed it as dvra ace castette  (falls over laughing) and he had not uploaded any pictures    It amazes me that somebody with such limited brain power could earn enough money to buy dura ace parts in the first place  (so probably stolen). The room temperature in my shed in january is higher than this ebayers I.Q. and after I received the item I told him this by e;mail

Also about four weeks ago somebody was trying to sell a "faberge" box that was essentially just a piece of wooden crap for.......£1200 :!: :!: :!:
When I e;mailed him to tell him that Faberge did not sell mediocre pieces of fire wood they were actually court jewellers specializing in exceptionally fine enamel objet's d'art at the beginning of the twentieth century. His reply contained these immortal words "my maites a rusky an e reckon that its faberge so f... off" I watch all his items now for amusement value

I picked up my 'Specialised Stunt Jumper' for a song.
Fatfingers used to be good but Ebay does some misspelled search corrections now.

I've listed a DAB radio, pictured working.

Question: 'does it all work ok?'

I might answer: Tapedeck doesnt rewind and the showerhead needs descaling

Or would that be too obtuse?
