Who's allowed to ride your bikes?

oooh, i let them have a quick supervised ride up and down the road for them to see how nice they are, but not ride ride no never, recently letting the wife use one bike when hers was out of action resulted in the zig zag on the black seatpost which made me really sad

happy for anyone to drive my car, but not ride my bikes

ride my bike?

taps deep into my thoughts this thread!

as a rule in will let other enthusiasts 'sample' a bike. but i even ask them not to change gear( as if im the only one that can?!) or pull a wheelie.
we put that much tlc into them its hard to let anybody have a go without intensely watching them for hundreds of yards, like your seeing the kids off to school.
im odd too.

I'm not bothered about lending my bike but my tools are another story. no one not even my boss can delve into my tool

i'm happy to let anyone i know or anyone i ride with ride my bikes.

i must say i was shocked with saltyman at this sumer's dalby meet.

i was a lottle late arriving and fluffychicken was looking over his jones.

i introduced myself to rich as we had never met before and told him his bike was awesome.

" thanks, take it for a ride!"

i was well impressed with that.

felt a bit quesy when fluffychecken revealed its value to me!
