Ignoring The others and concentrating on Jeremy for a moment

He has throughout his educational and political life;

Been more likely to be in the company of terrorist organisations than British military
Been more likely to be pro Palestinian than pro Israeli
More likely to be seen with a red flag and a golden star behind him than a Union Jack
More likely to want the monarchy removed than recognise it is a part of Great Britain
More likely to ban all protests outside the Russian embassy whilst in the "stop the war coalition"
More likely to vote than any other mp, against his own party
More likely to block grammar schools choice despite both he and his son having been educated by them
More likely to have the least amount of his own party mp's supporting him

And the list could go on, he has every right to be anti authoritarian, anti his own party, anti military, anti monarchy, anti nuclear, anti Israel, etc etc

But given he has largely spent most of his 68 years hating the system, this country and all it entails, Why does he now think everything is okay enough that he should be in charge of the very same country he has often hated? I just don't buy the pr spin that this man of principle, has suddenly changed.

One of the more silly comments here, particularly with respect to the Palestinian struggle. Some would say you could do with growing up a bit.

Your super supercilious faux intelligence misses the point

If you were to write the job description for a British prime minister then Corbyns c.v. would have ended up in the bin at a very early stage. I pointed out his points of view were his right but bearing in mind the job involves respecting the monarchy, supporting our armed forces, going against terrorists and being prudent with the public purse then Corbyn does not fit that job description.

As to growing up a bit Harry? I'd like to respond in that a failing business selling cheap wine is hardly the king of maturity or the bench mark for such a standard. I don't normally do such personal retorts but it seems you need one from time to time to appreciate how rude you have become. You're welcome

KDM you seem to think that the requirements for being Prime Minister is to share all of your personal political ideology.

I mean, I don't believe in the model of democracy the UK uses, but even I know that it isn't "be a nationalist or you are not allowed in". You believe that anyone who actually opposes you is disqualified from politics.

You can't even honestly appraise him anyway, because you've got nothing to go on but Tory memes about "magic money trees" or the IRA. The very meaning you assign to phrases like "respecting the monarchy", "supporting our armed forces" etc is ideology. The very idea that those things should be done is itself ideology, even before you get to how to do it.

Not at all, I think you will find most would expect our prime minister, or any leader of the country to be patriotic, supportive of the countries armed forces, not wish to remove the countries internal intelligence services or armed police.

That isn't anti Corbyn but more pro leader of the country and the expectations. Nor is my view you are a nationalist or you can't come in, we are talking about one specific role which is the top chair of the British government.

I can't appraise him? type into google Jeremy Corbyn with British armed forces and then type in jeremy Corbyn with terrorist groups. Not words, but in pictures, which one do you feel will give you the biggest result?

"supporting our armed forces" etc is ideology. The very idea that those things should be done is itself ideology, even before you get to how to do it."

Please forgive me bats but isn't that one of the pledges every prime minister has to make, the same as her majesties government?

Again this isn't anti Corbyn but again, the job description does not match the man of the last 68 years running to now do the job as it is required

Given tonight's events, let's all wind our necks in and shake each other. We are privileged to be here doing our keyboard warrior thing. God bless all of you.

And another example of a basic lack of logic and erudition.

As for rudeness - perhaps you should re-read your comments.

Re:

Being against the Iraq war is not being against the armed forces FFS.

Being a republican is not being against the country.

The Tories have cut the police, cut the army, borrow more than Labour etc Too many people drink the coolade free with the Daily Mail.
