For a Tory, its a pretty lefty policy. Free schools that encourage ALL kids to strive work hard, pay attention, get a first class education be ambitious etc. In truth its well documented to improve social mobility or do you think thats a bad thing ? Keep people down, dont let them get above their station.

Tell me which of these states you would rather live in ? The majority of people living under those systems never have/had a better quality of life. Thats why so many people have/are trying to leave those countries and move to the West. Who can blame them either. We would do the same in their position.

Im 100% a believer in a more egalitarian society, caring for the environment etc but this should be achieved through International agreement, having less wars, less arms dealing, wasting £Trillions on mudering people, regenerating areas destroyed by conflict and disease etc

I asked you why tories are racking up so much debt when they're not spending anything on the essentials. It's a question that's got really nothing to do with Communism, because it's entirely about what the tory government is doing.

At any rate:

China is closer to raising 600,000,000 out of poverty than 600,000. Very impressive, but as a % of population the USSR wins amongst all countries - of all economic systems - of raising the standards of living the fastest in known history. People's China is second place.

So there's your success - taking countries that were medieval basket cases and turning them into space-fairing nuclear superpowers, where contrary to your claims, most of them were perfectly happy.

It would be a very bad idea for you continue on this subject because I know much much more about it than you do, so I suggest answering my question about what the tories are doing with all those loans they have instead.

There was a Head Teacher of a Grammar School in Kent on the radio saying that schools are being underfunded. World at One on R4 on Fri. I think he said they have 150 more pupils but cant afford any more teachers.

Thats why we need more Grammar schools. Too much lefty NUT politics interfering in kids education. Stressed, pushy middle class parents desperately trying to get their kids into grammars cos too many of the local comps are full of kids, giving it up and smoking crack. Strange they dont want Jemima to end up pregnant at 14.

We need vocational schools like the Germans have for those less academic. Learn a trade etc John Prescott failed his 11+ unlike his brother who joined the RAF. It clearly had a lasting effect on his psyche as hes had it in for anybody striving to achieve since. The class war politics of envy & hate. Bats Politics.

Transition back many of the Comps that are NOT doing so well to Grammars and build more grammars where clearly there is not enough capacity of the highest level for those in the catchment area. North London being such an area. Part fund it by stopping the waste of £ billions on foreign aid, or legal aid to protect the rights of criminals and lining the pockets of Dictators, Despots, Eurocrats and Corrupt emerging economies and fund education at home instead.
