Who welded these frames?

Just seen this on eBay….surely those weld aren’t a sign of a good welder/bike???

Hmmmm, I smell bullsh!t here. Mountain biking first appeared at the 1996 Olympics as a demonstration sport, and GB was represented by Gary Foord and David Baker. Foord rode his sponsors Scott, and Baker was on his GT Xizang.

So basically the ad here is for a frameset built two years before the Olympics and isn't even close to either of the bikes the guys rode.
