who owns their dream bike(s)?

Got it. From my early days in mountain biking I always wanted a Pace (blame Zak T and that bloody sheep). Mine does everything I need and want and looks fantastic too.

Although it's not really my ultimate dream bike I never imagined I'd ever own a Yeti Lawwill BITD (weren't they over 2 grand just for the frame?)
With Airlines too!

Still holding out for an ex-Missy ARC ASLT :?

yeah i got my dream bike erm, umm, 11 yrs ago but i never got the full bits to get it goin like it should - a gold Kona Sex Too frame/forx for my 21st birthday from an ex way BITD. It's been used as a toilet roll holder (no room elsewhere in't flat :roll: ) and more recently a glorified clothes hanger for tooo many yrs and i never seemed to have the cash/skill to make it work. but i keep hold of it for nostalgia sakes. one of these days, eh?

god i would kill for a '91 Karakoram (complete with the old megabites n suntour chainset) but somehow i think that's a bit of a pipedream. or a Klein attitude, drool :shock:

Just missing a Colnago Master with full C. Record Delta brake groupset with the first ergopower shifters.

I came so close.
Had the groupset twice and had a Bianchi SLX, then an 853/Ti Dynatech instead.

I Now have both a modern Merlin Works HT Custom and a GT lightning(never liked the XiZang polished finish) the Lightning is a 16 and would like a 14 if one comes along to swap!
Strangely I feel the Lightning rides better than the £2000 frame of the Merlin!
I have a San Andreas on the way and though I love the Merlin may sell this to fund the bling build on the Sanny?
I also have a 12.5 Zaskar Le frame (anther dream bike) awaiting paint and build when time allows.

When i was in my teens, my dream bike was a Cannondale SuperV. I did get one eventually, a Raven4000 :twisted: :twisted: It was superb and lived up to the dream.
Haven't had any other 'dream bikes'. The last bike i really wanted was the Yeti 575, not a dream bike, but bloody superb and i'm happy with it
