Who made or makes 1" Titanium Stems?

Lots of brands made them but most are gonna be quite rare I'd imagine.
Ibis
Litespeed
Dean/Clark Kent
McMahon
WTB
Titus
ITM
Ballistic
Ti Flexstem combo
Cinelli Grammo
Willits
Fat Bottom
Torque Ti
IRD (rare)
Brit makes:
Kolo
Simplon
Skin Up
Zero Gravity (?)

..not certain they all did 1'' but I think so

I have a Litespeed stem on my Yo Eddy

and a nice one it is; light and perfect

Keep an eye out on the road portions of ebay, as ti 1" quill stems come up semi-regularly, and can easily be shimmed down from 26.0 to 25.4.

Moots, Litespeed, Ibis, Serotta all made nice ones.

Could you not just use a 1 1/8" stem and shim it down to 1" size? There's a lot more Ti stems in 1 1/8" than 1" as you've found out.

am i missing something here john?..... :D

:? ??

surely you shim a stem up in dia from 1 to 1 1/8........am i missing the point?.......i am extraordinarily thick, so may leave this with egg on my face.....

1"quill titanium stem ?
I had a litespeed some years ago, but I remember a very very flexy stem.
I understood why many quill stem were made in steel. For aluminium stem, they were very big
But it's why, 1" titanium stem are rare. The different titanium maker prefered to use 1"1/8 quill. Merlin ()who built their frame with an 1") headtube didn't think that titanium was a good metal for stem.
Ibis have a very good design, strong enough… but expensive and heavier.
