I've always thought estays were non rear suspension?

the minute it has suspension at the rear then surely it just becomes a full sus if suss forks are at the front?

Here's a rare one. The seatpost was seized for the last 10 years or more and it was mangled at the end. It was one of those projects I was putting off but I just got it out today. I'm not real sure what it is. I thought it was a cross bike but the brakes are positioned to fit a 26" wheel better. The rear spacing is really wide but that could have been manipulated
