10 team points to anyone who can identify this old hag.

only original frame, lx rear mech, lx cantis, and levers remaining. front forks used to be same paint job as frame untill an unfortunate incident with a parked car spelt there replacement with these black steel ones.

been set up like this for a year or so now for the wife to use.

it was given to me over ten years ago now, and i'd love to do somthing else with it.

any help identifying it greatly appreciated.

ps. first time i've added a photo so sorry if its balls up.

cheers.

It's a British Eagle - I would date it around 1992-1993. Cheap, heavy, Chinese made aluminum frame, I owned one for about a week, stripped it bare, polished it and flipped it on, built up with bits from the parts bin - I saw it around for years wearing a set of Marin IFT decals!

Can't tell you the model name, but I believe there were also blue and purple variation.

That's the smallest one I've ever seen - most are gates.

Crap! longun is right! My memory is not good - why did we not wear helmets in the 1990s? I think the same frame was used for the British Eagle BOSS, but came in black, white and yellow finishes.

Townsend used those frames as well. They did a purple one called a 'TITAN' iirc. Came with very basic components (TY20, plastic coated steel chainset, etc).
