Has anyone ever used one of these? Came with a 17T chainring, which I guess would be pretty good for climbing walls!

Thinking about buying a 23T Suntour "A" cog to try out the whole range but I guess chain and derailleur cage lengths are going to become factors running something so small.

Bloody good question; no idea! Once I get a frame I'll let you know but in the meantime you'd have to ask someone like adri.75 as he's running an LMDS but from what I can gather as there's no spring tension the shifting is very light.

Shimano FD-M950 modified with spooler

Finally managed to pick up a NOS Ø34.9mm front mech that wasn't a silly price.

With the swing arm removed the spooler had quite a bit of slack on the pins, which I've taken out with some washers. Not sure if this is right as I've only got the instructions for the rear mech... Anyone got this bit of info?

Weight's also increased by a whooping 7grm to 119grm.
