White Bros cranks

Another part of the puzzle for one of my build plans has landed. I'm having a very productive weekend on the bay, first my Stumpy frame and now this.

I've been on the lookout for a set for a while, and today stumbled on this one not even looking. It has the very characteristic White outer ring still in good nick too. This was standard factory issue for my SC Heckler BITD if I would have had the money back then, so this will go on the retro rebuild. BTW it's listed as weighing under 700gr

Can someone chime in with wisdom on how to tell if this is a US made set or of the Sugino production?

They were standard on Santa Cruz factory built bikes in 1997 when I ordered my frame. And they will be adorning that frame this summer!

They look like legit USA White arms to me, not the Sugino OEMs...which I think actually have "Sugino" stamped on the back, ala Ritchey Logic arms.

They are indeed the USA ones, with the hollowed out back to the arms, certainly not OE on Marins etc
