Which year is my Alpinestars Cro Mega E-stay frame?

Hello 'Hive Mind' and fellow 'retro MTBs are the best MTBs' Gang!

I bought a Cro Mega frame and forks and clearly had a slightly dodgy respray and decal job on it... It was sprayed white and yellow and had DX written on in marker pen.

Upon stripping the paint it looks like someone had painted it blue before, a horrible blue mind.

I am wondering if there is a way of identifying if I should paint it white/grey or all red. As I think that was the only 2 colour ways for this model?

Check the rear dropouts - if I recall, they join differently depending on year.

Paint is currently bubbling away... I'll get it properly stripped and brushed up and get some pics up.

Actually.... I think that is pretty conclusive! It's a 92 based upon the dropouts.
