Which suspension corrected fork for Kona CinderCone

Hi, i'm building up a 94/95 Kona Cindercone to take on a two week cycling holiday in Burma. I wanted to get some rigid forks and the suspension corrected ones I have been looking at are the Surly 1x1 80mm, it seem nowhere in the UK has any stock of these and the suppliers aren't clear on the date for more stock.

How much of a difference would it make to the riding position if I went for the 100mm suspension corrected forks?

I'm running slightly longer forks ( an inch) on my hei hei than is ideal and it's ok.

100mm suspension corrected forks will push the geometry way out. I'd look for 415/420mm axle-to-crown P2s.

About 40mm difference.

Less about riding position, more about structural risks, these frames were not built to handle the additional forces which will go on the front-end.

If the riding position is an issue, triple check you've got the right sized frame, then think about risers or a riser stem if you need to be more upright.
