which pro's bike would you have?

you can pick any ex pro's race bike but you are only allowed one. which would it be?

and why?

for me it would have to be tomac's Raleigh. He was at the top of his game and he was my hero. Pleased to know he's a cool guy in the flesh too.

It's not technically a 'race' bike as such, but I'd have Martyn Ashton's Blue/Yellow Cannondale F??? trials bike, with the itty bitty frame and headshock forks.

Why? Because I got to have a little spin on it at Silverstone once, when he was on the Volvo stand doing a demo. He's a top, top bloke too.

None, the reason, they would probably be past their best, hence reason for racer to be rid of it.

Now I might be more interested if I had to jemmy the bike out of their hands for that indicates the bike is at least still worth a racer's attention.

But seeing as I am non competitive and I can't stand racing, an ex race bike would be useless to me, it would be like putting a race horse out to pasture.
