Which pads for 98 XT V brake

title says it all really, except I cant seem to find the right ones . . .

would these fit for example?

fwiw the brake arm isnt the skinnier M739 its the slightly later version with XT written in outline rather than normal font - not sure if that matters?

Any V-Brake pad (or pad and holder) will normally fit.

Eat your heart out at this place.
I like the triple style, they work well in general use, are a bit chunkier though so you'll need to adjust your alignment.
But the traditional skinny ones are there too and work well.

ok, sorry for being lazy - done some digging and reading about V brakes abnd it is less complex than I expected

this tells me M70R2 is correct for all Shimano cartridge V brakes:
