Which out of these 2 specialized is the one to go for

I'm a total Virgin to full suspension bikes so please keep this in mind.

I'm after a full suspension mtb and I'm after 1 of 2 specialized bikes but unsure which one as I've never owned one before or ever ridden one.

I'm not after advice on other makes etc as it does my head in just looking at a few makes and it loses me with all the different components etc.

I do mainly canal paths but there far from man made paths and can be used for cattle crossing etc so leaving deep bumpy holes.

I do plan on doing so proper tracks in the future though

So both the bikes are specialized

Stumpjumper fsr comp evo 29 2015

Camber evo 29 2015

Which would you go for and what's the bloody difference in layman's terms

Re:

Spec levels on both are broadly similar, with the Stumpjumper getting a slightly better fork but that'll make no difference to you if you've never ridden either!

Camber is 120mm travel and more of a trail bike; Stumpjumper is 140mm travel and more heavy-duty. Both are overkill for canal paths (even rough ones!) so of those I'd say the Camber.

Be aware that most manufacturers seem to be phasing out 29ers as they did with 26" and moving to 650b.

Lol I bought the Camber about 4 hours ago after ruling the stumpjumper out.

I will be going around llandegla occasionally throughout the year so it won't be wasted.

I don't like the aesthetics of the 29 but it will help with softening out of the bumps as they cause me discomfort in my knees and shoulders from rheumatoid arthritis
