which music streaming service? opinions wanted

Lol unsellable to you perhaps, but that's my jam! All I but is used CDs and records. I barely buy anything new anymore. Ms Dice has occasionally picked up a few new albums, but there aren't many making new albums that I'm interested in.

Just how many copies of a Robson and Jerome album from the 90s do you need?

hmm . . . so this thread was worthwhile for me to ask about then.🤦‍♂️

seemed to have turned in to a rant for many of you. didn't mean to cause that!

any chance you guys can answer the original question to help me decide rather than getting all environmental or upset at with rich person gets to make the most money out of me.

apologies if that's a little blunt!!😬

I think Youtube premium gives you the biggest catalogue. Lots of old stuff that isn't on streaming services can be found there. +movies, live music, news and more. But get a Brave browser and an adblocker and the ads will be gone, so seems a bit of a waste of money then. I am on Tidal because they have high quality files, up to 24 bit 192khz. As noted before here, they have a better system for paying artists, but I still buy cd's when I really like something.

I use Apple Music. Mainly a legacy thing, I used to use an iPod and iTunes and it turned into an iPhone and Apple Music.

I like that my iTunes library still exists, it just is merged with the AM library. There are a few instances where some of my library has disappeared because it’s not available on AM but we’re talking a handful of songs/albums out of about 100gb.

I mainly stream FLAC through ethernet from a NAS, but sometimes when Im out I stream music.

I had Spotify premium but they started taking the proverbial with the sub increases last year so I dumped them, great selection of music.
Currently have an Apple Music sub which does offer lossless and also has a great selection, but seriously considering Tidal
