Which Hope lever is this??

I've ordered a rebuild kit for my front brake lever, which is a dh4 lever, which I thought this was too, until I took the cap off and the seal differs. This has a seal under the cap where as the dh4 lever has a piston inside the fluid reservoir.

Here's a pic of it, can anyone help?

the "open" version, so would have been on the O2 or maybe the DH4 they were the brakes before the mini and then the mini m4

edit, the pic shows the rear caliper, looks like the DH4 version

I've googled hope pro lever, and it is the same as my front brake... They look identical from the outside, it's just the seal in the reservoir that differs (from quick inspection anyway).

What is 'open' type?

the C2 and the O2 are different, but only slightly looks wise, the C2 is a "closed" system which means it has no expansion chamber which means that when the rotor/pads get really hot the fluid expands which causes your brake to bind on the rotor, the O2 is and "open" system which means it does have the expansion chamber, looks wise the difference is the C2 has a silver dial on the top of the reservoir. some of the seals etc should be the same.

Ahhh I see! I wondered what the difference was! That would explain why my front brake has a silver top, I thought someone has just got a replacement that didn't match.

Any idea how I'd find a rebuild kit for it? As the standard dh4 lever is closed by the looks of things...
